About Me

I’ve been a DJ almost since I was old enough to work and I’ve never wanted to do anything else. From the early days of paying my dues in some pretty shady bars to the present day working at the finest reception venues in the Northeast, entertainment has been my life.

I was lucky to gain the amount of experience that I did when I was young. Working for some of the largest DJ services around at the time kept me busy 4 and 5 nights a week. That can be rare for a DJ, and certainly for someone who tries to go out on their own without any prior experience. It also gave me the opportunity to work with a lot of more experienced DJs and learn from their different styles. It didn’t take long before I was ready to set out on my own.

I was, for all intents and purposes, very successful. I built a multi-system operation from scratch, providing services for hundreds of clients, and was able to earn a decent living doing what I loved.

By 2006 the pressures of running a company started to wear on me a bit, so I made the difficult decision to drastically change my business model. By reducing the number of events I accepted I was able to focus more of my attention on the events at which I would be personally performing and less on the “business of running a business”. This was the turning point in my professional life and business. I began regularly attending industry conferences and trade shows to keep up with trends. I took specialized training to become a better entertainer and master of ceremonies. I even dabbled in stand-up comedy. Along the way I became friends with some of the most talented and successful DJs in the country and brought their ideas home to Upstate NY.

From there it snowballed. As a result of the unique ideas I was able to offer I found myself working with more fun and creative clients. My clients have made my work so much fun that it has driven me to continue my growth as and entertainer and always be on the lookout for “the next big thing”. I love what I do and that is reflected in each event that I am a part of. I can’t wait to share in your big day, too!
